Privacy statement
AreaInspect, Newtonlaan 115, 3584 BH Utrecht, handles your data with care. This statement explains which data we process and why.
Contact form and email
If you send us a message, we use your name or organisation, your email address and your message only to answer your question. A message sent through the form is delivered via our own server within the EU as an email to our inbox; your IP address is stored for no more than one hour to prevent abuse and spam. We do not keep your data longer than necessary and do not share it with others.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not set any tracking or advertising cookies and does not load fonts from third parties. Only if you click on a video to view it in 3D does your browser load the 3D software (three.js) via jsDelivr; jsDelivr then sees your IP address.
Website language
The website selects the language based on your browser's time zone and language setting. This happens only in your browser; no data is sent to us or to anyone else for this purpose. If you choose a language yourself, your browser remembers that choice, so the site opens directly in that language next time.
Visitor statistics
To see how our website is used, AreaInspect itself records which pages are viewed, which website or search engine you came from, and whether you click on our email address or phone number. We do not use cookies for this. Your IP address is stored on our own server within the EU to determine an approximate location and, for business connections, the organisation. It is not shared with third parties and is deleted after 180 days at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our website.
Your rights
You can always ask us which data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. To do so, email info@areainspect.com. If you have a complaint, you can also contact the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
